About Us
Shamrock Animal Hospital is an independently and family-owned veterinary hospital serving dogs and cats throughout Mount Dora, Eustis, Tavares, the Golden Triangle and Lake County, Florida. Founded in 1988 and led by owner and medical director Dr. Raquel Fagan, Shamrock combines individualized care with modern veterinary medicine.
The full-service animal hospital provides wellness exams, puppy and kitten care, senior pet care, vaccinations, sick-pet visits, urgent and same-day appointments when available, digital X-rays, ultrasound, in-house laboratory testing, dentistry, dental X-rays, professional cleanings, soft-tissue surgery, spay and neuter procedures, mass and foreign-body removal, therapeutic laser treatments, nutritional guidance, prescription diets, a full-service pharmacy, veterinary boarding, baths, nail trims and compassionate end-of-life care.
As the Home of the Lifetime Wellness Plan, Shamrock offers preventive-care plans tailored to each pet’s age, species, life stage and needs. Plans may include examinations, vaccines, annual bloodwork, heartworm testing and prevention, intestinal parasite screening, flea and tick prevention, and savings on select services.
